Fear and chemicals

It has been documented that fear may cause or facilitate sexual arousal. Psychoanalytically, the experience of losing one's self during femdom activities (losing masculinity or losing dignity or losing purity etc may be perceived as losing self) imposes a fear of death and it may cause erection in order to fertilize the woman and satisfy the natural evolution goal. But, actually, fear is supposed to inhibit sexuality, since it stimulates sympathetic system. And ofcourse, penis is shrinked when a man is feared. Thus, the fear in femdom is not the same fear, it is not a regular common fear. This is clear, since a man (even a masochist) who fears he will be whipped by enemies while he is a war prisoner, he ofcourse does not have an erection, in contrast with a masochist who fears he will be whipped by a beautiful woman while he is her sexual prisoner. The differences between these two fears are that in femdom, the masochist deliberately exposes himself to the fear (of loss of masculinity, dignity, purity, etc). Also the exposure to the fear is controlled, he knows that his partner, although she is supposed to be sadistic, she is not a dangerous schizo. He exposes himself to a fear that is not a real threat (for example he would not accept to cut his throat, etc). Also, he knows he can stop this anytime he wants. The reason of the fear is his own desire, for example he endures whipping, because he wants to satisfy his supposedly sadistic partner, and subsequently he wants to satisfy himself (while, eg being whipped by enemies, is against his desires). Those differences, indicate that it is not the fear that actually causes arousal. The real fear causes inhibition of sexual arousal. The arousal is caused by enduring the fears safely and thus overcoming the sexual inhibitions they impose, so that few normal sexual stimulis would be enough to cause arousal (for example considering his partner as goddess, considering himself unable to control his lust, etc). That is to say that femdom fetishists are not just fear and pain junkies that get sexually aroused by endorphines, etc. This would be a basis for all people to get aroused this way and this would mean that all people in stressful situations are prone to sexual arousal, which is not correct ofcourse.
